   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 253...

   The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 253
   continues.

   SUMMARY...A line of storms is moving southeast across southwest and
   south-central Oklahoma and into far northwest Texas. Damaging winds
   are the main severe threat with this likely continuing for the next
   1-2 hours. A new downstream watch is unlikely.

   DISCUSSION...Multiple measured severe wind gusts have been observed
   as the line of storms has moved across western/central Oklahoma. The
   gust front has begun to surge ahead of the line with some indication
   via radar/lightning that the eastern part of the line is weakening.
   However, damaging winds remain possible across central Oklahoma with
   higher chances of severe winds across southwest/southern Oklahoma.
   These storms may persist into northwest/north Texas in the next hour
   or two with a local watch extension possible. While the severe
   threat may continue downstream of WW253, a new downstream watch is
   unlikely currently, given the relatively small area/window of time
   for severe winds.
