   Areas affected...OK/TX Panhandle region

   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 295...

   The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 295
   continues.

   SUMMARY...Severe threat will increase this evening across the TX/OK
   Panhandle region. Damaging winds are the primary threat.

   DISCUSSION...Scattered convection that developed off the higher
   terrain of southern CO/northern NM is progressing across the High
   Plains toward the western OK/TX Panhandle region. Precipitation is
   gradually expanding in areal coverage and the leading edge is
   becoming oriented in an arcing line from Los Animas County CO -
   Cimarron County OK - Union County NM. Favorable easterly low-level
   inflow should encourage this cluster of storms to grow upscale into
   an MCS over the next few hours. As this complex matures, it should
   propagate across the remainder of ww295 toward northwest TX.
   Damaging winds are the primary threat.
