   The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 309
   continues.

   SUMMARY...The severe threat should continue to diminish across
   Severe Thunderstorm Watch 309.

   DISCUSSION...With nocturnal cooling continuing early this morning,
   convection appears to be struggling to maintain intensity across
   northern OH and far northwestern PA. MUCAPE has generally decreased
   into the 250-500 J/kg range, and with additional strengthening of
   convective inhibition, it appears that the overall severe threat is
   diminishing. Still, a locally strong/gusty wind threat cannot be
   ruled out in the short term along/near the lakeshore in northeastern
   OH and vicinity. If current convective trends continue, then Severe
   Thunderstorm Watch 309 may be cancelled early.
