   Mesoscale Discussion 1043
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   0653 PM CDT Sun Jun 28 2020

   Areas affected...ND

   Concerning...Tornado Watch 314...

   Valid 282353Z - 290200Z

The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 314 continues.

SUMMARY...Severe threat continues across much of ww314.

DISCUSSION...Weak mid-level short-wave trough will eject across the
international border over the next few hours. In its wake,
negligible large-scale forcing for ascent is expected across the
northern High Plains the rest of the evening. As a result,
north-south boundary that is currently draped across ND is expected
to move little, and likely remain the focus for additional
thunderstorm development, especially as LLJ increases across the
   Dakotas later this evening.
