   Probability of Watch Issuance...5 percent

   SUMMARY...Isolated marginally severe hail possible this afternoon.
   Modest buoyancy and weak shear will limit the severe threat. No WW
   expected.

   DISCUSSION...Modest surface heating beneath an upper-level low has
   lead to widely scattered thunderstorms across parts of southern New
   England. Given the cold air aloft, the stronger storms will be
   capable of marginally severe hail. Low-level lapse rates and
   low/mid-level winds are not all that impressive which will limit the
   potential for damaging wind gusts. Thunderstorms should decrease in
   coverage and intensity by late afternoon. No WW is expected.
