   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 385...

   The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 385
   continues.

   SUMMARY...Local risk for gusty/damaging winds continues across
   portions of western NY and into the northern PA vicinity.

   DISCUSSION...A moist/moderately unstable airmass in place across
   western NY and adjacent northern PA continues to support a
   semi-organized band of storms now to the lee of Lake Erie, moving
   eastward at around 40 kt.  The strongest storms are indicated across
   Livingston/Allegany/Cattaraugus Counties, where a new band of storms
   appears to have formed along outflow that surged ahead of the prior
   band.

   Storms will continue moving through the warm/moist/unstable
   environment, and with moderate/weakly veering flow aloft across the
   area, occasional stronger gusts may approach severe levels in and
   just south of the WW area (though an additional WW south of the
   existing watch is not anticipated at this time).
