   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 395...396...

   The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 395, 396
   continues.

   SUMMARY...Thunderstorms will continue to pose a threat for isolated
   damaging wind through the early evening, primarily from eastern
   Pennsylvania through southeast New York and into southern New
   England.

   DISCUSSION...Widely scattered to scattered thunderstorms are
   developing along and south of a cold front from southern New England
   into southeast NY as well as northern and eastern PA. Mixed storm
   modes including lines, small clusters, and discrete cells continue
   to be observed within an environment characterized by 1500-2000 J/kg
   MLCAPE and 30-35 kt effective bulk shear. The greatest severe threat
   will persist from eastern PA into southeast NY and southern New
   England. Severe threat appears more limited across the northern half
   of WW 395 including southern NH and southeast ME. Persistent clouds
   and pockets of convective overturning from earlier storms have
   resulted in weaker instability in these areas, though a couple of
   locally strong to severe gusts remain possible.
