   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 504...

   The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 504
   continues.

   SUMMARY...The severe threat continues across WW 504.

   DISCUSSION...A fast-moving line of convection has evolved from near
   MLI to UIN to JEF over the past couple of hours.  Strong to severe
   wind gusts were reported in the past hour at Columbia (44 kts) and
   Jefferson City (47 kts) with the passage of the convection.  The
   storms remain in a strongly sheared environment, with low-level
   shear expected to gradually strengthen in tandem with a developing
   low over eastern Iowa.  With a general motion of 45-60 knots, the
   line is expected to reach northeastern portions of the WW (across
   north-central Illinois) around 21Z or so and central Illinois
   between 21Z and 22Z.  It is possible that a brief tornado threat
   will increase through that time frame as well.
