The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 233
continues.

SUMMARY...Scattered storms may produce severe hail or a severe gust
or two over the next few hours over far southeast New Mexico into
parts of southwest Texas.

DISCUSSION...Storms now moving into central Texas have produced
stabilizing outflow in the MAF to SJT corridor, but relatively
greater instability remains within a narrow zone to the west. Cells
(some splitting) containing sporadic severe hail may persist for 2-3
more hours this evening as they slowly drift across the eastern
counties of NM and into parts of west/southwest TX. Some of this
activity may eventually enter western parts of WW 233. However, the
bulk of the watch area has been stabilized, and additional watches
are not expected.
