   Mesoscale Discussion 1115
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   0458 PM CDT Fri Jun 10 2022

Areas affected...South AL into the FL Panhandle

   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 343...

   Valid 102158Z - 102330Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 343
   continues.

SUMMARY...The threat for locally damaging wind may spread downstream
of WW 343, but a general weakening trend is expected to continue.

DISCUSSION...The leading edge of a long-lived MCS is currently
moving into parts of southern AL and the FL Panhandle. Convection
has become quite disorganized along the leading outflow, and a
general weakening trend is expected to continue, due to increasingly
weak deep-layer flow/shear downstream of the weakening system.
However, moderate buoyancy across south AL into the FL Panhandle may
support sporadic redevelopment along and ahead of the outflow as it
moves eastward, which could pose a localized damaging wind threat.
With the general weakening trend expected to continue, downstream
   watch issuance is not anticipated.
