   Mesoscale Discussion 2062
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   1127 PM CDT Wed Oct 09 2019

   Areas affected...Oklahoma

   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 672...

   Valid 100427Z - 100600Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 672
   continues.

SUMMARY...A few strong storms will progress across eastern portions
of ww672. Small hail and gusty winds remain possible for the next
   few hours.

   DISCUSSION...Remnants of afternoon/early-evening convection have
progressed across all but the eastern-most portion of ww672. Over
the last hour or so, hail cores have gradually weakened and overall
intensity of thunderstorm activity has decreased. LLJ remains
favorable for convection to spread into northeast OK/southeast KS
over the next few hours but the threat for severe hail/wind appears
to be low the rest of tonight.
