   ...NO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST...

   ...SUMMARY...
Thunderstorms will be possible this evening into tonight across
parts of the eastern Seaboard, Florida and along the West Coast. No
   severe storms are expected.

   ...DISCUSSION...
The latest water vapor imagery shows a shortwave trough in the
southern Appalachians. Thunderstorms will be possible along parts of
the Eastern Seaboard as the shortwave trough approaches the East
Coast this evening. This feature will move offshore tonight ending
the potential for storms along the East Coast. Further to the south,
a few thunderstorms will also be possible across the central Florida
Peninsula where instability is relatively weak. Lightning strikes
will also be possible tonight along parts of the West Coast as a
shortwave trough approaches the coast. No severe thunderstorm
development is expected this evening or tonight across the
   continental United States.
