...THERE IS A MARGINAL RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM THE UPPER
TEXAS COAST TO THE LOUISIANA AND MISSISSIPPI COAST...

   ...SUMMARY...
Isolated severe wind gusts, and perhaps a tornado, can be expected
from the upper Texas coast to the central Gulf coast tonight.

   ...01z Update...

Mature MCS that initiated over east TX has progressed into the lower
Sabine River Valley, extending southwest along the upper TX coast
region. This trailing activity is mostly linear in nature, though a
few supercells are embedded along the frontal squall line. One
intense supercell has increased in intensity over Galveston Bay.
This storm is tracking east and will likely cross Bolivar Peninsula
before moving into the northern Gulf basin. The primary severe risk
overnight will focus along the LA/MS coast, immediately ahead of the
surface low that should track just inland ahead of the strong
   short-wave trough.
