...THERE IS A MARGINAL RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PARTS OF
   SOUTHERN GEORGIA...

   ...SUMMARY...
Thunderstorms associated with strong wind gusts will be possible
   today across southern Georgia.

   ...Southern Georgia...
A shortwave trough will move into the lower to mid Mississippi
Valley today as mid-level flow remains west-southwesterly across
much of the Southeast. At the surface, A cold front will be located
across the Florida Panhandle and southern Georgia. Thunderstorm
development will be possible during the day along and to the south
of the front. Although instability will remain very weak to the
south of the front, low-level flow is forecast to gradually increase
ahead of the approaching shortwave trough. This combined with very
strong mid-level flow may be enough for a marginal severe threat in
southern Georgia. A few strong wind gusts will be possible around
   midday.
