Showers and isolated thunderstorms continue across the central FL
peninsula this evening. The severe threat has diminished this
evening. Convection will continue tracking southeast while
instability and shear diminish with southward extent. A few
lightning flashes are possible over the next 1-3 hours, but severe
storms are not expected. Elsewhere, a few lightning flashes are
still possible near the northern CA coast and offshore waters
through tonight.
