along the Texas coast through daybreak on Saturday.
...DISCUSSION...
An upper-level trough will move eastward into the western Atlantic
tonight as an upper-level ridge moves from the Great Plains into the
Mississippi Valley. At the surface, an area of high pressure will
affect the eastern third of the nation. A few thunderstorms could
occur along the southern periphery of the high-pressure system in
southern Florida and along the Texas coast. However, no severe
threat is expected this evening or tonight.
