The prevalence of cool/cold temperatures and stable conditions via
continental trajectories will result in an essentially nil
thunderstorm potential across the CONUS today and tonight. The only
potential, albeit low, for thunderstorms is near the east-central
coast of Florida and moreso the nearby Atlantic waters near a weak
surface wave and residual front. Marginally supportive thermodynamic
conditions could support some lightning flashes.
