   ...NO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST...

   ...SUMMARY...
Severe thunderstorms are not expected today or tonight.

   ...OK/TX into the TN Valley...
A zone of relatively strong low-level warm/moist advection has
resulted in a large plume of winter precipitation (including
scattered thunderstorms) over parts of central/eastern OK and
western AR. This activity will persist through the forecast period
and develop eastward toward the TN Valley. Refer to MCD #177/#178
   for further short-term details.

   ...Southwest States...
Water vapor imagery shows a shortwave trough rotating across
southern CA. Lift ahead of this system, coupled with weak diurnal
heating, may result in scattered showers and isolated lightning
flashes this afternoon and evening from southern CA into central AZ
   and the Four-Corners vicinity.
