   THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
   TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 
   
          PARTS OF SOUTHERN KANSAS
          LARGE PART OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
          PARTS OF NORTHWEST TEXAS INCLUDING EASTERN PANHANDLE
   
   EFFECTIVE THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 200 PM UNTIL
   1000 PM CDT.
   
   TORNADOES...HAIL TO 3 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND
   GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE
   AREAS.
   
   THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 120 STATUTE
   MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 70 MILES SOUTHWEST OF WICHITA
   FALLS TEXAS TO 30 MILES NORTH NORTHWEST OF WICHITA KANSAS.  FOR A

   REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR
   TORNADOES AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH
   AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
   THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS
   AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS.

   DISCUSSION...SURFACE BOUNDARY IN PROCESS OF RETREATING TOWARD ERN TX
   PANHANDLE AND THEN ACROSS SRN KS.  WITH AIR MASS VERY UNSTABLE AND
   UNCAPPED...POTENTIAL FOR SUPERCELLS EXPECTED TO RAPIDLY INCREASE
   VICINITY BOUNDARY.  ALONG WITH VERY LARGE HAIL...TORNADOES WILL BE
   POSSIBLE WITH SUPERCELLS GIVEN THE FAVORABLE LOW LEVEL SHEAR AND
   HIGH CAPE.  ACTIVITY WILL DEVELOP EWD ACROSS OK BY EVENING.
   
   AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL
   SURFACE AND ALOFT TO 3 INCHES. EXTREME TURBULENCE AND SURFACE
   WIND GUSTS TO 60 KNOTS. A FEW CUMULONIMBI WITH MAXIMUM TOPS TO
