   Tornado Watch Number 66
   NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   805 PM CDT Wed May 2 2018

   The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

   * Tornado Watch for portions of 
     Southern and eastern Oklahoma

   * Effective this Wednesday night and Thursday morning from 805 PM
     until 300 AM CDT.

   * Primary threats include...
     A few tornadoes possible
     Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts
       to 75 mph possible
     Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible

   SUMMARY...A broken belt of strong-severe thunderstorms, with bow
   echoes and perhaps an embedded supercell or two, will move into the
   watch area over the next few hours.  Damaging gusts, sporadic severe
   hail, and a few embedded tornadoes are possible.

   The tornado watch area is approximately along and 65 statute miles
   east and west of a line from 40 miles east southeast of Ardmore OK
   to 30 miles east northeast of Bartlesville OK. For a complete

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
   tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
   area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
   threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
   and possible warnings.
