The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Tornado Watch for portions of
Western Kansas
* Effective this Friday night from 855 PM until Midnight CDT.
* Primary threats include...
A couple tornadoes possible
Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5
inches in diameter possible
Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
SUMMARY...Supercells will continue to pose a large hail and tornado
risk this evening mainly across southwest/west-central Kansas.
The tornado watch area is approximately along and 35 statute miles
east and west of a line from 25 miles northwest of Russell KS to 50
miles south of Dodge City KS. For a complete depiction of the watch
