A few tornadoes likely Widespread large hail and scattered very large hail events to 3 inches in diameter likely Widespread damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 80 mph likely SUMMARY...Rapid severe storm development is expected soon across southeast Kansas, and these storms will likely grow upscale quickly this evening while surging southeastward into northeast Oklahoma, southwest Missouri, and northwest Arkansas. The initial storms could be supercells with the potential for a couple of tornadoes and very large hail. Embedded supercells and bowing segments are expected later this evening with upscale growth of the storms into a squall line, and an increasing threat for widespread/significant wind damage.
