Widespread damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 80 mph likely Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...Lines of storms, with a history of severe winds in excess of 80 mph, will spread quickly eastward from eastern Montana into North Dakota through early tonight. The storm environment will likely maintain the damaging-wind threat with bowing segments, as well as the potential for large hail with the stronger storms. An isolated tornado or two will also be possible with embedded circulations. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 105 statute miles east and west of a line from 55 miles north northwest of Minot ND to 20 miles east of Lemmon SD.
