   Tornado Watch Number 11
   NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   520 AM CST Sat Jan 11 2020

   The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

   * Tornado Watch for portions of 
     Eastern and southern Louisiana
     Far southern Mississippi
     Coastal Waters

   * Effective this Saturday morning from 520 AM until NOON CST.

   * Primary threats include...
     A few tornadoes and a couple intense tornadoes possible
     Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely

   SUMMARY...An extensive squall line across will progress east across
   central into southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi through
   midday. Damaging winds will be the primary threat, but a few
   embedded tornadoes will remain possible.

   The tornado watch area is approximately along and 55 statute miles
   east and west of a line from 20 miles west northwest of Mc Comb MS
   to 40 miles southwest of Boothville LA. For a complete depiction of

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
   tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
   area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
   threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
   and possible warnings.

   AVIATION...Tornadoes and a few severe thunderstorms with hail
   surface and aloft to 0.5 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind
   gusts to 60 knots. A few cumulonimbi with maximum tops to 500. Mean
   storm motion vector 24040.
