The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Tornado Watch for portions of
Middle Tennessee
* Effective this Monday night and Tuesday morning from 1120 PM
until 300 AM CST.
* Primary threats include...
A couple tornadoes possible
Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2
inches in diameter possible
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
SUMMARY...Potentially tornadic supercell entering northwestern
Middle Tennessee may maintain its organization in a marginally
favorable low-level air mass for a few hours before weakening. A
couple tornadoes, sporadic large hail, and isolated severe gusts may
occur.
The tornado watch area is approximately along and 30 statute miles
north and south of a line from 75 miles west of Nashville TN to 15
miles east northeast of Nashville TN. For a complete depiction of
