   URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED
   Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 151
   NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   330 PM CDT Tue Apr 28 2020

   The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

   * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
     A small part of south central and southeast Kansas
     Much of central Oklahoma
     Extreme northwest Texas

   * Effective this Tuesday afternoon and evening from 330 PM until
     1100 PM CDT.

   * Primary threats include...
     Widespread damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 80
       mph likely
     Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 3
       inches in diameter likely
     A tornado or two possible

   SUMMARY...Rapid thunderstorm development is expected soon along a
   cold front in south central Kansas.  The initial storms could be
   supercells with an attendant threat for very large hail.  The storms
   will tend to grow upscale this evening and back-build to the
   southwest, likely affecting the Oklahoma City area close to 7p. 
   Aside from the large hail threat, increasingly widespread damaging
   winds, some significant, are expected across central and south
   central Oklahoma through late evening/early tonight.

   The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 105
   statute miles north and south of a line from 20 miles east of
   Chandler OK to 30 miles north northwest of Fort Sill OK. For a

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
   favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
   Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
   weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
   warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
   tornadoes.

   OTHER WATCH INFORMATION...CONTINUE...WW 150...

   AVIATION...A few severe thunderstorms with hail surface and aloft to
   3 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind gusts to 70 knots. A
   few cumulonimbi with maximum tops to 600. Mean storm motion vector
   32025.
