The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
A small part of north Texas
* Effective this Monday evening from 810 PM until 1100 PM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2
inches in diameter possible
Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
SUMMARY...A cluster of severe storms in southern Oklahoma will
continue to develop southward across the Red River, with a continued
threat for large hail and isolated damaging gusts, prior to the
storms weakening a little later tonight.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 30
statute miles north and south of a line from 75 miles west southwest
of Sherman TX to 50 miles east southeast of Sherman TX. For a

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.

warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
