   URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED
   Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 192
   NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   410 PM CDT Sun May 17 2020

   The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

   * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
     East-central and southeast Illinois
     Western Indiana
     Northwest Kentucky

   * Effective this Sunday afternoon and evening from 410 PM until
     1000 PM CDT.

   * Primary threats include...
     Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
     A tornado or two possible

   SUMMARY...Bands of storms and possibly a few supercells will
   continue to organize and at least somewhat intensify late this
   afternoon through early evening. Isolated damaging winds and
   possibly a tornado or two could occur.

   The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 55
   statute miles east and west of a line from 20 miles north of
   Danville IL to 45 miles east southeast of Carbondale IL. For a

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
   favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
   Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
   weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
   warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
   tornadoes.

   AVIATION...A few severe thunderstorms with hail surface and aloft to
   1 inch. Extreme turbulence and surface wind gusts to 60 knots. A few
   cumulonimbi with maximum tops to 400. Mean storm motion vector
   23035.
