   URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED
   Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 205
   NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   655 PM CDT Fri May 22 2020

   The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

   * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
     Parts of southwest and south central Oklahoma
     Northwest and north central Texas

   * Effective this Friday night and Saturday morning from 655 PM
     until 200 AM CDT.

   * Primary threats include...
     Widespread large hail and scattered very large hail events to 3
       inches in diameter likely
     Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
     A tornado or two possible

   SUMMARY...Splitting supercells will likely persist into the
   overnight hours, with the northernmost hail threat potentially
   reaching parts of central Oklahoma.  Additional storm development is
   expected across northwest Texas this evening.  The storm environment
   is favorable for very large/damaging hail with the supercells, as
   well as damaging winds.  A tornado or two will be possible this
   evening as storms remain discrete, primarily near the Red River. 
   Upscale growth into clusters is possible through early tonight as
   the storms spread generally eastward, with a continued large hail
   and damaging wind threat.

   The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 70
   statute miles north and south of a line from 80 miles south
   southwest of Altus OK to 40 miles northeast of Durant OK. For a

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
   favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
   Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
   weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
   warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
   tornadoes.

   OTHER WATCH INFORMATION...This severe thunderstorm watch replaces
   severe thunderstorm watch number 203. Watch number 203 will not
   be in effect after 655 PM CDT. CONTINUE...WW 204...

   AVIATION...A few severe thunderstorms with hail surface and aloft to
   3 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind gusts to 60 knots. A
   few cumulonimbi with maximum tops to 600. Mean storm motion vector
   29020.
