The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Southeast Colorado
* Effective this Sunday afternoon and evening from 345 PM until
900 PM MDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2
inches in diameter possible
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
SUMMARY...Severe storm development is expected in the upslope flow
regime across southeast Colorado this afternoon/evening. A
supercell or two will be possible, with an attendant threat for
large hail and isolated damaging winds.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45
statute miles north and south of a line from 25 miles north
northwest of Trinidad CO to 40 miles northeast of Springfield CO.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are

warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
