The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Southern Alabama
Florida Panhandle
Southwest Georgia
Southeast Mississippi
Coastal Waters
* Effective this Sunday afternoon and evening from 440 PM until
1100 PM EDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely
Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible
SUMMARY...An increasingly organized/accelerating band of storms will
continue south-southeastward across the region through late
afternoon/evening, with damaging winds as the primary hazard.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 55
statute miles north and south of a line from 35 miles northwest of
Mobile AL to 50 miles east northeast of Dothan AL. For a complete

High values are bolded and lighter in color to provide awareness of
an increased threat for a particular event.
