The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Western Connecticut
Delaware
Western Massachusetts
Eastern Maryland
New Jersey
Eastern New York

Coastal Waters
* Effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 255 PM
until 1000 PM EDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely
Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible
SUMMARY...Thunderstorms over Virginia and Pennsylvania will continue
to move/develop eastward this afternoon and early evening, affecting
the watch area. The strongest storms will be capable of damaging
wind gusts and perhaps hail.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60
statute miles east and west of a line from 50 miles south southeast
of Dover DE to 25 miles north of Albany NY. For a complete depiction

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
