The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Central Illinois
East-central and northeast Missouri
* Effective this Monday afternoon and evening from 255 PM until
1000 PM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely
Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible
SUMMARY...Several multicell clusters should develop east from
central and northeast Missouri. These clusters will largely pose a
risk for strong to isolated severe gusts, yielding scattered
damaging winds as they spread into central Illinois through this
evening.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 115
statute miles east and west of a line from 50 miles east southeast
of Jefferson City MO to 35 miles north of Springfield IL. For a

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
