   URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED
   Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 506
   NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   735 PM EST Tue Nov 10 2020

   The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

   * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
     Northern Indiana
     Lower Michigan

   * Effective this Tuesday night from 735 PM until Midnight EST.

   * Primary threats include...
     Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
     A tornado or two possible

   SUMMARY...A fast-moving squall line will continue to race
   northeastward this evening. While the overall intensity of the line
   may gradually diminish, the fast forward motion and strengthening
   winds in the lower part of the atmosphere will support the continued
   possibility of isolated damaging wind gusts across parts of Lower
   Michigan and far northern Indiana.

   The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 35
   statute miles east and west of a line from 95 miles north northeast
   of Grand Rapids MI to 25 miles south of South Bend IN. For a

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
   favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
   Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
   weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
   warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
   tornadoes.

   AVIATION...A few severe thunderstorms with hail surface and aloft to
   0.5 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind gusts to 60 knots. A
   few cumulonimbi with maximum tops to 400. Mean storm motion vector
   23045.
