The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
  Central and Western Maryland
  Central Pennsylvania
  Far Northern Virginia
  Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia
  Coastal Waters

* Effective this Monday afternoon and evening from 455 PM until
  900 PM EST.

* Primary threats include...
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

SUMMARY...A line of fast-moving showers and isolated thunderstorms
will move across the watch area this afternoon and early evening,
posing a risk of locally damaging wind gusts.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 70
statute miles east and west of a line from 45 miles north of
Williamsport PA to 15 miles south southeast of Martinsburg WV. For a

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.

0.5 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind gusts to 60 knots. A
