The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of 
  Eastern Kentucky
  Eastern Ohio
  Far western Pennsylvania
  Western West Virginia

* Effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 235 PM
  until 1000 PM EDT.

* Primary threats include...
  A few tornadoes possible
  Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter likely
  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

SUMMARY...Scattered severe storms including supercells are expected
to develop and quickly move northeastward in the presence of a
moderately destabilizing air mass and very strong deep-layer winds.
Large hail and damaging winds can be expected, along with the
potential for tornadoes, particularly with semi-discrete supercells
occurring near the warm front.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 55 statute miles
east and west of a line from 45 miles northwest of Pittsburgh PA to
55 miles south of Huntington WV. For a complete depiction of the

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
and possible warnings.
