Scattered damaging winds and isolated significant gusts to 75 mph likely Scattered large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...Clusters of severe storms in the Texas/Oklahoma Panhandles and Texas South Plains will consolidate into a larger convective complex and spread into western Oklahoma and extreme northwest Texas later this evening into tonight. Damaging winds up to 75 mph will be the main threat, though the stronger embedded storms will also be capable of producing large hail up to 1.5 inches in diameter. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 40 statute miles east and west of a line from 35 miles west northwest of Alva OK to 45 miles south of Altus OK.
