An Enhanced Risk of Severe Thunderstorms is Forecast Today and/or Tonight
Severe thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening over parts of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. A few strong to locally severe storms also may develop over the Carolinas. Farther west, some severe storms are possible mainly from eastern Colorado into central Kansas late this afternoon and tonight.
